Main Galleries: We are pleased to present four distinct but interconnected exhibitions that explore how we understand the past, navigate uncertainty, and carry traces of history into the present. Through photography, painting, drawing, assemblage, and sculpture, the artists consider memory, place, family, perception, and the enduring relationship between people and the materials and environments they inhabit. The Linda Roesch Visual Arts Gallery and Gallery 3: A Place Visited Only in Dreams brings together 33 artists who are each interested in exploring the shifting terrain of the subconscious, where logic dissolves and imagination reigns. Rooted in the legacy of Surrealism, this exhibition is composed of works that construct alternate realities—worlds shaped by dream imagery, memory fragments, intuition, and the irrational.
